Base with metal platform with wood slats, adjustable to four height positions: 1st 5.5 cm, 2nd 8 cm, 3rd 10.5 cm, 4th 13 cm; double-check there is sufficient space to support the platform inside the bed, as shown in the figure.

The Newbridge bed features a linear cowhide-clad, uniquely C-shaped metal headboard equipped with handy shelves or drawers in wood, available in a number of finishes. The generously padded perimeter bed frame and headboard cushions offer elegant contrast to the austerity of the headboard-cum-night stand. The headboard cushions can be reclined to a comfortable partially-upright position for reading or watching TV. The Newbridge bed comes in several sizes and is available in versions with base composed of a single perimeter frame, rigid base, platform base with height-adjustable slats and base with storage compartment, handy for storing pillows, blankets and bed linens.
